On the evening of February 11th, at the front-line of the “war against the epidemic” in Wuhan, the temporary Party branch of the National Medical Team of TCM composed by the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine held a special oath-taking ceremony on joining the Communist Party of China. According to the personal applications of team members Wang Wei, Wang Bing, Li Xiuyang and Jiang Jianxin, four comrades have been admitted to the probationary Party member after the organizational investigation.

 "It is my will to join the Communist Party of China, uphold the Party's program, observe the provisions of the Party constitution, fulfill a Party member's duties, carry out the Party's decisions, strictly observe Party discipline, guard Party secrets, be loyal to the Party, work hard, fight for communism throughout my life, be ready at all times to sacrifice all for the Party and the people, and never betray the Party." At the oath-taking ceremony, Lv Wenliang, Organizing Secretary of the temporary Party branch, led four members of the team to solemnly make the oath together with the other Party members of the medical team.

Huang Luqi, an academician andSecretary of the temporary Party branch and Li Hao, Publicity Secretary of the temporary Party branch, put on the Party emblem for four comrades. ZhaDezhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Academy of Medicine, called to congratulate the four comrades on joining the Party, and to wish the members of the team early success. The four comrades have said that they will not fail to live up to the great trust of the Party, and will continue to work hard to meet the standards of the CPC members, to fulfiltheir jobs, and to contribute to the victory over the outbreak. After the ceremony, Huang Luqi told them to play a pioneering and exemplary role, to overcome difficulties and win the war against the epidemic. He also told them to keep a balance between work and rest, to strive to complete the task as soon as possible, as well as protect themselves from the disease.

At the critical moment of prevention and control in Wuhan, Wang Wei, Wang Bing, Li Xiuyang and Jiang Jianxin, as well as the other members of the medical team, took the initiative to take on the urgent and dangerous tasks, stood up for the interests of the country and the people and made outstanding contributions to the prevention and control of the outbreak.
