Abstract: Objective: To explore the effects of acupuncture on the expression of Fibronection and CollagenⅠ in lung tissues of asthmatic rats. Methods: Thirty SPF male SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group, asthmatic model group and the acupuncture treatment group, with 10 rats in each group. Groups were given accordingly interventions, HE staining was applied to observe the morphologic changes of lung tissues; the immunohistochemical method was applied to test the protein expression of Fibronectionand CollagenⅠ in lung tissue. Results: Acupuncture can effectively improve pathological changes of lung tissues in asthmatic rats. The expression of Fibronection and CollagenⅠ in lung tissue of acupuncture group significantly lower than asthmatic group(F=32.408 ,P=0.000 ;F=15.861 ,P=0.000). Conclusion: Acupuncture could reduce the protein expression of Fibronection and CollagenⅠin lung tissues in asthmatic rats leading to airway remodeling.
