Objective: to study and promote eye-acupuncture technology to benefit all human beings. Ischemic cerebrovascular disease means due to hematologic effects in brain, it results in ischemic, oxygen-deficient brain tissue necrosis and encephalomalacia, this is in scope of apoplexy in TCM ,since ischemic cerebrovascular disease is clinically commonly and frequently encountered disease. The incidence of the disease happens 80% in all brain death, however, even survived, 60%-70% patients remain paralysis, aphasia and so on severe disability, so the disease seriously threaten human life day by day, which brings heavy burdens on family and the society. Therefore, to search an effective treatment becomes hot spot in current medical world. Among many kind of treatments, Chinese medicine and acupuncture treatment have bright future since they can obtain a better curative effect to apoplexy.

Method: patient can sit straightforward or lay down on the back if seriously ill or weak. Using #32 0.5 cun stainless acupuncture needle, find out acupuncture points on liver’s,  kidney’s, upper-JIAO, and lower-JIAO areas, use 75% alcohol to sponge to sterilize, doctor can hold needle in right hand, pierce the point 2mm away to orbital inner border, pierce from one side to the other side in meridian, pass through true skin to the bottom of skin, both exterior and interior meridian, but cannot pierce other areas, retain the needle for 10-20 minutes, and then hold the needle handle between thumb and forefinger, pull out the needle softly, the other hand can use dry cotton to press on the hole in the skin.The main point is: 1. accurate acupuncture points. 2. be careful of the depth of the needle in skin and time for needle retaining. 3. steady, accurate, straight, and fast pierce, do not draw or twist the needle. 4. let patient do some limbs activities and language practice. 5. slowly pull out the needle and quickly press on the hold by needle.

Advantage: eye-acupuncture treatment using small acupuncture needle, takes a few acupuncture points, shallow of needle piercing into skin, softly handle, easy operation, fast effect, easy handle. It is a kind of new, convenient, effective, innovative treatment to reduce the incidence of apoplexy, increases cure rate, decreases failure treatment rate result in disability.
