Summary:

The knee and ankle of the voltiger on horseback are a typical example of sporadic injury gradually, insidiously, apart from any violent trauma, besides, acute pathologies such as sprains, dislocations, shocks and falls are excluded of this presentation.

The repetitiveness of the "sporting" gesture in a movement for which the joint has not been designed produces progressive lesions that borrow symptomatology that is halfway between early aging and osteoarthritis, with the complete or partial triumvirate consisting of pain, swelling and redness. The pathology is studied according to the 8 Rules, it concerns the relations of the viscera with the Organic Liquids, the Qi and the Blood in their articular representations.
