Abstract：Rosacea was caused by damp heat evil that producted more by the lung and spleen changes in the nose and face.The pathological changes can be summarized as spleen and stomach heat, lung by heat and cold blood stasis in three aspects, bloodletting therapy is an important component of the traditional medical acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, with refreshing refreshing, detoxification heat, Promoting blood circulation and dredging the meridian, swelling and pain and so on.It is reliable to use bloodletting therapy for the treatment of certain diseaseson on the basis of accurate dialectical,and with less acupuncture points, easy operation, rapid onset characteristics, often get effect that drug therapy difficult to achieve. This article discusses the clinical application of bloodletting therapy for the treatment of rosacea, describes the etiology and pathogenesis of rosacea, the current treatment methods, and from the treatment of bloodletting therapy, methods of operation, blood clotting tools, blood volume, mechanism of action to summed up to verify the effectiveness of the clinical use of bloodletting therapy for the future use of bloodletting therapy to lay the foundation for the application.
