Abstract: Acupuncture treatment of disease has a unique curative effect, but the needle  into acupoints can cause pain, many patients did not dare to use acupuncture to treat disease, or because afraid of the pain, which affect acupuncture treatment effect. At present still occupies the important position of the use of traditional acupuncture needle,this article through the literature review, and the combination in teaching and clinical experience, analysis into the objective reasons of needle pain, mainly include needle, Acupoint skin tissue、acupuncture technique three aspects of factors, and the specific application in the operation how to reduce or avoid the unnecessary pain, are discussed.
