Just before the official operation of the cabin hospital of Dahuashan Outdoor Sports Center in Jiangxia District, Wuhan, Yu Yanhong, member of the Party Leadership Group of the National Health Commission, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Yan Shujiang, Vice Commissioner of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, came to the hospital for investigation, and carried out on-site coordination to address related problems.

Yu Yanhong and Yan Shujiang，together with Zhang Boli and Liu Qingquan, medical treatment experts from the central steering group, learned in detail about the preparation and simulation test of the cabin hospital of Dahuashan Outdoor Sports Center in Jiangxia District, Wuhan, and had a discussion with the leaders and key members of the third national TCM medical team.

Yu Yanhong pointed out that the third national TCM medical team is fully responsible for the operation of the cabin hospital. This is a major political task entrusted to us by the CPC Central Committee. We must study and fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions, meet the requirements of “to receive patients to the fullest extent”, highlight the characteristics and advantages of TCM, go all out to treat patients, and strive to increase the rate of hospitalization and recovery, reduce the rate of infection and mortality, so to make contribution to win the fight against the epidemic in Wuhan and Hubei.

Yu Yanhong emphasized that it is necessary to strengthen coordination with the Jiangxia District CPC Committee and the local government, innovate the operation mode of the cabin hospital, strengthen the leadership of the cabin hospital, adhere to the bottom-line thinking, strengthen the awareness of risks, standardize the treatment process, and give full play to TCM in treating mild patients. We must vigorously carry forward the fine tradition of "excellent medical skills and great medical ethics" of doctors, and bring warm and scrupulous care to each patient. Medical workers must strictly follow the protective regulations, and strengthen self-protection with "zero infection".

Before the investigation, Yan Shujiang had chaired a meeting to study the operation program of the cabin hospital.

The cabin hospital will be taken over by the third national TCM medical team. It will be put into operation with 400 beds on February 14th. The third national TCM medical team consists of 209 medical staff from TCM hospitals in Tianjin, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Henan, Hunan, etc.
