According to the arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NATCM) is conscientiously carrying out the spirit of the important instructions given by General Secretary Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang, fully promoting local health and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) authorities to carry out TCM treatment for pneumonia caused by 2019-nCoV. 

After the National Health Commission and NATCM issued the Diagnosis and Treatment Scheme for Pneumonia Caused by the Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) (Trail 4th Edition), 24 provincial authorities including Beijing and Tianjin, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps issued their provincial schemes of TCM treatment based on the national scheme and local climate and clinical situations; 3 provincial authorities including Shanghai, Henan and Chongqing are now drafting their own provincial schemes of TCM treatment; 4 provincial authorities including Shanxi, Anhui, Fujian and Qinghai are following the national scheme temporally. 

At present, all provincial medical treatment expert groups established by 31 provinces and Xinjiang Construction and Production Corps contains TCM doctors, amounting to 185 TCM doctors. In the meantime, 24 provincial authorities and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corp also separately set provincial TCM expert groups, containing 525 experts in total.

During the medical treatment in which TCM participates, symptoms such as lack of strength, fever, cough, sore throat, poor appetite have been more or less relieved after taking the TCM decoctions and TCM patent medicines. (Data as of Jan 28th, 24:00)
