Cupping in the treatment of NLBP cases based on

ABSTRACT Objective: To observe the immediate and long-term effects of cupping therapy on chronic nonspecific low back pain (NLBP). Methods: Giving the persons who meet the inclusion criteria of NLBP with constant negative pressure -0.04Mpa at Dachangshu, Ciliao, Dazhui, Mingmen, Weizhong acupoint cupping, cupping 15min, this treatment once every other day, 4 times for 1 course of treatment, a total of 1 courses of treatment. Using self control method based on VAS visual analogue scale and Oswestry disability index and Roland-Morris disability questionnaire as observation indexes were observed and recorded 3 times, respectively, before treatment, after treatment, after 1 weeks of treatment. Results: after cupping treatment, the scores of VAS, ODI and RMQD were significantly lower than those before treatment (all p<0.05), and the scores of ODI and RMQD were significantly decreased at 1 weeks after treatment (p<0.05, NLBP). Conclusion: cupping treatment of patients with NLBP for immediate pain relief effect significantly; and to ease walking, standing, sitting, bending, housework activities, activity time, activity intensity is significantly improved, and have long-term effects (p<0.05).
