KEYWORDS: Discussion on the modalities, content and method of modern acupuntureeducation.
OBJECTIVES: to assess the opportunity to approach the Art of Acupuncture through education
to a deeper vision of the human being and its indefinite resources.
METHODS: the method I use is based on the founding principles of the culture and education
of Chinese Tradition, on neuroscience and on modern discoveries of phisio-anatomy. First, byobserving the ear and the hands and listening to the note and pitch of the voice, I find the meridiansthat are “disturbed” by the illness. This first step is essential for me, because it allowsme to understand how I can "balance" the other meridians and go about solving the problem.By appropriately stimulating the cerebellum I can have a complete picture of the patient's energeticpotential that is essential to start an adequate healing process.
RESULTS: clinical cases:
•Systolic heart murmur in the fetus
•Rheumatoid arthritis
DISCUSSION / CONCLUSIONS: according to one of the key principles of Chinese TraditionalCulture, man is embedded in the natural movements of energy of the universe and he is in close connection with the surrounding environment with which there is a constant exchangeof energy. Educating the mind to a deeper vision of the human being is educating the intellectin the laws of nature that include things and their forces, men and their ways. The experiencegained during these years of research has confirmed that the cerebellum directs brain functionsand that through it is possible to understand how the Art of Acupuncture works.
