Free Consultation by Panel of experts from World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies(WFAS) in Mauritius achieves praise, peoples wait in line for treatment

To implement the“One Belt One Road”international cooperation programme, TCM activities of WFAS went into Mauritius. On the afternoon of 27th April, 2017, panel of experts on TCM ,Acupuncture and Moxibustion provided health consultation and voluntary treatment for local Chinese at reputed Chinese Renhe House in Mauritius, which drew a number of warm responses.

Long queues appeared outside the hall of the house before arrival of physicians. Among  nearly a hundred locals, some are Chinese,who are descendants of Hakkasan that have lived in Mauritius for about two centuries and have been localized in lifestyle and language due to generations of living. The rest are non-Chinese who harbored an attitude of simply try for their incurable diseases. Rich in experience, our panel of experts were patient with consulting and found out cause of disease promptly. After simple treatment, significant efficacy have been achieved, which won patients’ admiration. Some are even reluctant to leave, appreciating for physicians’treatment.

Renowned experts assigned by WFAS on Acupuncture,Message,internal medicine of TCM,Cardiovasology, etc. are Chief of Acupuncture Department Yu Jianhong from the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yay-sen University, Professor Kong Lihong from Hubei University of Chinese Medicine,Chief of TCM Department Wen Biling from China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and Professor Wu Hanqing from Beijing Minimally-invasive Acupuncture Academy. In the strong support of Chinese Ambassy in Mauritius, experts conducted health consultation activities that are rich in both content and form at request of patients, which excludes the difficulty and anxiety for compatriots that defend long-term overseas diplomatic fronts and plays their role of envoy in white.

The whole activities won a enthusiastic response, which promotes ideas of TCM, demonstrates its curative effects, spreads TCM culture, creates fine atmosphere for overseas development of TCM and enhance influence of TCM in Mauritius.
