Abstract:  TLRs  is  basic  member  of  the  innate  immune  which  belong  to  a  family  of  pattern recognition receptors ( PRRs). Growing evidence has demonstrated that TLRs play a critical role in myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury.  Specifically, the research of TLR2 and TLR4 is the most widespread. The cardiomyocyte can release some substance which can bind to TLR after ischemia.  Through several signal transduction pathways, nuclear factor κB can be activated, which  lead  to  the  production  of  proinflammation  factors .Coincidently, inflammation  postmyocardial infarction is a key determinant of the left ventricular remodeling. In this review,we will focus on the recent progresses of TLR2 and TLR4 in  myocardial  I/R  injury.Preliminary clarify the mechanism of TLRs in myocardial I/R injury and provided new insight into the clinical treatment.
