Vice President of WFAS Shen Zhixiang invited to attend the 2nd  Hong kong Scalp Acupuncture and Special Techniques Seminar

To carry forward the quintessence of Chinese culture, promote the development of acupuncture and moxibustion, improve international academic exchanges and enhance acupuncture to play a bigger role in benefiting global human health, the 2nd  Hong kong Scalp Acupuncture and Special Techniques Seminar was held successfully on 23th April,2017, which was hosted by WFAS, Acupuncture and Moxibustion School of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Scalp Acupuncture Association and other Hong kong TCM associations. Nearly three hundred experts from Hong kong, colleges and universities of interior of China and neighboring countries and regions attended the seminar, ahead of which the 3rd Council was convened and Dr. Zhang Weisheng was elected the new president.

Invited to this seminar, Vice President and Secretary of WFAS Pro. Shen Zhixiang expressed congratulations to the establishment of new council and delivered keynote speech. Pro. Shen first gave an introduction of the development of world acupuncture and moxibustion and basic situation of WFAS, then offered directive suggestions for promotion of clinic applications and efficacy of various techniques and implement of the Belt and the Road Initiative to promote TCM to play a bigger role in request to development.

Head of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chen Junfeng, Dr. Wang Jie from Traditional Chinese Medicine Committee of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Pro. Xiong Jiawei and President Chen Zejia, reputed acupuncture expert Pro. Fang Benzheng, Pro. Tain Weizhu that inherits Ocular Acupuncture Therapy, Pro. Bo Zhiyun that invents Abdominal Acupuncture, Pro. Qiu Jiuheng and medical founder Pro. Deng Zhilong were also invited to this seminar.

During the seminar, Director of Food and Health Bureau of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Dr. Gao Yongwen met with Vice President and Secretary of WFAS Pro. Shen Zhixiang, hoping for enhance cooperation and communication with WFAS to promote TCM development of four regions across the straights together.
