To promote the standardized application of international acupuncture standards in developing countries, enhance the scientific level of acupuncture standard development in various countries, and facilitate international cooperation in traditional medicine and the sharing of health benefits, World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) will hold the “International Training Course on Application and Development Methodology of International Acupuncture Standards” in 8-22, April, 2026. Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

Venue: Beijing; Tianjin; Zhengzhou, Henan Province

3.Target Trainees

Administrative and technical personnel engaged in the development of international acupuncture standards from developing countries.

Requirements:

Age: No more than 60 years old;

Health Status: In good health, and shall provide a health certificate issued by a local public hospital or submit the relevant form;

English Proficiency: Possess English listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities that meet the requirements of attending lectures and participating in seminars and exchanges.

5.Training Content

The training focuses on the application and development of international acupuncture standards. The teaching will be carried out around the following aspects: current status of international acupuncture standard development, methodology for international acupuncture standard development, experience sharing on international acupuncture standard development, examples of promotion, popularization and application of international acupuncture standards, and exploration on the formulation of regulations and policies related to acupuncture practice in developing countries.

Training Fees: Trainees shall bear the cost of international round-trip travel by themselves. Accommodation, meals and transportation expenses during the training period shall be borne by the organizing unit.

Registration Process:

1)Fill in the registration form and send it to the email address: contact@wfas.org.cn;

2)Online review of registration information;

3)After passing the review, the trainee will be notified via email to submit supporting materials (such as health certificate);

4)Verify the supporting materials and confirm that the trainee can come to China to participate in the training on time;

5)The organizer can assist in providing an invitation letter. Trainees shall handle the visa application by themselves for coming to China for the training.
