Innovation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion and Non-Pharmaceutical Therapies Forum at the World Conference on Traditional Medicine 2026

The World Conference on Traditional Medicine 2026 will be held in Beijing on October 17–18, 2026. Hosted by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the National Health Commission, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the National Medical Products Administration, and co-organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), the conference will focus on the theme "Technology Empowerment and Integrated Development: Advancing Traditional Medicine for All."

As one of the conference's eight parallel forums, the Innovation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion and Non-Pharmaceutical Therapies Forum, led by the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), will bring together experts and scholars from around the world to exchange research findings and practical experience in clinical applications, traditional therapies, and technological innovation. WFAS cordially invites experts, scholars, institutions, and professionals in relevant fields to attend.

The forum will feature keynote speeches, thematic presentations, and discussions covering the following three themes:

Theme I: Expansion of Clinical Disease Types and Development of Clinical Research and Evaluation Methods for Non-Pharmacological Therapies in Traditional Medicine

Theme II: Inheritance and Modern Innovation of Distinctive Non-Pharmacological Therapies from China and Abroad

Theme III: Digital and Intelligent Approaches, Large Models and Big Data, and Mechanism Innovations in Acupuncture and Non-Pharmacological Therapies
