President Liu Baoyan extended a warm welcome to Deputy Minister Vu Manh Ha and his delegation. He noted that Vietnam has a solid foundation in acupuncture and traditional medicine, and that Vietnam's Ministry of Health has long attached great importance to the development of traditional medicine. He expressed WFAS's willingness to further deepen its friendly cooperation with Vietnam by leveraging its international academic platform and professional resources to promote exchanges and cooperation in the dissemination of appropriate acupuncture techniques, clinical training, and professional talent development. These efforts aim to jointly enhance acupuncture healthcare services and better serve public health.

Deputy Minister Vu Manh Ha commended WFAS for its longstanding contributions to promoting international exchanges and cooperation in acupuncture-moxibustion. He emphasized that Vietnam highly values its cooperation with WFAS and hopes to further strengthen practical collaboration in the clinical application of acupuncture, talent development, scientific research, and international academic exchanges, thereby promoting the inheritance, innovation, and integration of traditional medicine within the healthcare system.

Both sides expressed their hope that professional institutions, including the National Hospital of Acupuncture, would serve as bridges for further cooperation in acupuncture clinical practice, talent development, and scientific research, leading to more tangible outcomes.

Also attending the meeting were Trinh Thi Dieu Thuong, Director General of the Traditional Medicine Administration under Vietnam's Ministry of Health; Tran Van Thanh, Director of the National Hospital of Acupuncture and Vice President of WFAS (Vietnam); and representatives from the General Affairs Department of the WFAS Secretariat.
